Emma loves people and encourages them with a compassionate smile and kind words. No wonder he is in the medical profession. But his passion and dreams don’t stop with first becoming a nurse and later a doctor.
As Dr. Michael Osinde shares, “he is involved with activities in the community dispensing medicine and is fully committed.” Emma and Dr. Osinde visit the local hospital and villages in Kabale, Uganda, educating people about health issues along with sharing the Gospel and stories about Jesus to give hope to those in pain needing comfort.
When Emma became a Christian he said “they chased me out of home.” He is a partial orphan with a mom who is very ill with heart disease. Emma told of being destined to follow the practices of worshipping shrines and practicing witchcraft before Pastor Johnson opened his eyes to Christ.
Every Sunday you find Emma leading the worship service and involved with the youth ministry. Even at school he is involved with a prayer ministry. Ms. Prudence Kabera, Deputy Principal described Emma as a role model to his colleagues.
His compassionate nature has given him a great desire to help orphans along with supporting ministers of God as he helps the poor in his community and surrounding villages. Due to his mom’s health he is lacking funding to continue school. Would you like to help Emma return to school and continue his education?
