Desperately needed Kenyan relief from Rock donors for those caught in post-election tribal violence is being distributed by the Kindgom Builders, The Rock's Kenya men's discipleship group.
Here is a report from Joseph Musungu, East Africa Program manager for The Rock: "Two Kingdom Builders men who are from the Kikuyu community (tribe under attack) were displaced and their household goods looted and destroyed but Rock has provided food and clothing and they are encouraged that they have brothers and sisters all over the world praying with and supporting them.
Also Rock has provided relief food, the Kingdom Builders will be distributing to the affected persons thus showing their love to them. We dealt with one case of a Kikuyu sister married to unsaved husband, the couple have five children, they sought their safety in a police station for a month before they were taken to Nairobi for the safety.
The men decided to sent them 3,000 Kenya shillings (about $20) to purchase food. The men have worked out plans for identifying the beneficiaries through the church home cell leaders; they should be through by next Thursday."
